Milan deny Becks deal done Rossoneri still working on Beckham move

AC Milan have dismissed claims that they have reached an agreement with LA Galaxy to keep David Beckham for the remainder of the season.

Beckham's short-term loan spell comes to an end on 9th March and Milan are trying to keep the England international at the San Siro, with the player expressing a desire to stay.

Reports emanating from America and Italy suggested a loan deal until the end of the season was close to being agreed between all parties.

However, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists a deal is far from done.

"I have read that everything is resolved but that is not the case," said Galliani on the club's official website.

"The deal is not resolved.

"We are in fact working on the possibility that he remains on loan until June 30 but no agreement has been reached."
Impressed
Beckham has made nine Serie A starts for AC Milan and scored twice since his arrival, and he has impressed Rossoneri coach Carlo Ancelotti.

"At the beginning he (Beckham) was set to train with us for two months and I didnt think about playing him," said Ancelotti.

"Then, I saw how he trained and I had no choice.

"We tried to get him four years earlier and two years ago but the negotiations faded away.

"I can say he is a great player but not a formidable one, although he has won me over with his performances and his character."
