Cech in confident mood
Peter Cech believes Chelsea can score a goal in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League tie against Juventus to ensure their progression to the quarter-finals.
The Blues beat Juve 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday thanks to an early goal from Didier Drogba, to set up an intriguing second leg in a fortnight's time.
Cech was called into action a number of times but Chelsea also threatened to extend their lead and the goalkeeper feels the scoreline could have been more convincing.
"That might make us regret, but I think it was a tight encounter," Cech told CTK.
"We are glad that I have managed to keep a clean sheet, as that is very important in this sort of game."
If Chelsea can grab an away goal then Juventus will have to score three times to advance to the last eight.
Cech believes his team-mates will be positive, adding: "I think that we are capable of scoring a goal in Turin."
Cech, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Rennes in 2004, was delighted to mark his 200th appearance for the club with a clean sheet.
He said: "I was telling myself that it would be nice to keep a clean sheet and win such an important match. That happened.
"I am satisfied (about making 200 appearances). It does not happen to every player to play so many games for such a big club."
